Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Bondi Beeswax on my lips?

Yes absolutely. Beeswax creates an effective wind barrier for lips and provides soothing moisture to dry lips.

Is Bondi Beeswax good for sensitive skin?

Yes. We only use three light Natural ingredients, including Beeswax which is hypoallergenic.

From experience, we have found when people switch to natural skincare products, there is a far less chance of skin irritation or reactions.

We do however recommend spot testing any product on a small area to ensure there is no reaction, however I have not met any person to date that has had an allergy to our balm.

Does Beeswax Clog the Pores?

Unlike petrolatum (jelly type balms), Beeswax allows the pores to breath while providing a protective barrier. This information is based on the comedogenic rating, in which Beeswax is rated a 2 – This means that it has a moderately low chance of clogging pores.

How much do I need to provide a barrier on the hands?

We recommend about a pea drop size is enough for both hands. This ensures the layer is not greasy while providing a barrier while hand washing.

How long does a tin generally last?

One 100g Tin of Bondi Beeswax is generally a three month supply. The shelf life is twelve months.

Do you use any Preservatives?

The great part about Bondi Beeswax is we do not need to use any preservatives as Beeswax itself is a natural preservative. Only 3 Simple Ingredients: Beeswax, Sunflower & Argan Oil.
